Be prepared to listen to sports smack from the regulars! It's part of the charm!

The Cuban was so wonderful. I had the bagel chips with the side of chive cream cheese and I was so delighted. At first I questioned the place when I walked it but it was all worth it.

Every time I am in PCB, I stop in with the family. It's the same quality every time. Great food! I love receiving sh!t from the owners for being from Ohio State.

I absolutely love these guys. First time to Florida and we drove past this place... Just decided to stop and check it out. What a wonderful experience! Super nice, family deli with wonderful food. Not sure we'll get back to this area, but wanted to share how lovely this place is. Highly recommend!

Dropped by my first time a few days ago. Overall, impressed and will try a few more times before making a hardcore decision. For the first time, I visited the DRIVE Through, yes, a full service deli that has a drive through! NICE. Was greeted by a very friendly man, service was quick, friendly and when I got back to the office and dug in, was pleasantly surprised. Good Sammy, nice coleslaw, although too much dressing for my taste and the pickle was divine. $8.00 for the whole deal. Some may say more pricey than Subway, but then this isn't Subway, it is a real deli. Next time I go inside to see what others think and try another fare. A rating on this visit! People have raved about the Reuben, I think that should be my next attempt.

We always make a point to visit this deli when we're in town. I love to support a local family restaurant and they have excellent food. We normally always go for breakfast and get bagels but today we went and had the chili cheese dog and it was fantastic. I definitely recommend eating here if you get the chance

I live by YELP reviews. There were a TON of places to eat, but the YELPERS usually give you the best advice. TRY THIS PLACE. Bread is freshly made, salad are fresh and tasty, attention to customer service. Yes you might wait a bit in line, but every good place has a line of people waiting to get in. When I am in this area, I will visit this place again.

Solid family owned establishment. The bagels won't blow you away with their taste, but given the dearth of bagel options in this area, you won't regret patronizing the Bay Street Deli. Prices are extremely reasonable. One of my favorite menu items is the plain bagel with ham, which makes a tasty, filling breakfast, all for the low low price of $2 odd dollars. The salt bagel is worth a try as well. It's very salty, somewhat like a hybrid between a pretzel in a bagel. Tasty, but too salty to eat more than one! The dining area is spacious if somewhat spartan. One positive element of dining in is the solid array of newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal and local paper that are available to read while you eat. This eatery also serves lunch sandwiches, but the prices are somewhat higher and I've yet to feel brave enough to risk $6-7 on what may be a glorified cold cut like I could make at home. The bagels are the highlight and, yes, namesake of this business, so they are your safest bet. Do keep in mind that the Bay Street Deli closes early and may run out of bagels as the morning turns to afternoon. Current hours as of my last visit were 6 a.m. - 3 p.m. . Stop by next time you are on the east end of Panama City Beach for a tasty, cheap, and filling breakfast with many choices of bagels and toppings!

LOVE this place! Fantastic bagels and sandwiches. The "original ziggys reuben" is a must-try. Very clean restaurant and super friendly staff. I will definitely revisit when I return to the city!

We came here for lunch yesterday and it was amazing so so so GOOD. Hubs said it was the best Reuben he's ever had and I agree. I had the Italian Beef and it was awesome but their Reuben was waaaay better. We also had their bagel and it was true to a New York style bagel, slightly crunchy outside, chewy inside. I can't wait till tomorrow to get their lox bagel. You gotta try this place! Also the people here are super duper friendly.

Being a native New Yorker in northern Florida, it's hard to find a bagel that meets my standards. I know what the doughy delights should taste like ... and grocery store bagels don't quite do the trick. Luckily, I discovered this little gem of a bagelry. Bay Street Deli has a wide variety of bagels (and different flavors of cream cheese, always a plus) and other yummy New York-esque breakfast foods: egg sandwiches, grilled cheese, etc. I recommend the light garden vegetable cream cheese on a toasted sesame bagel. Just like home! An extra star for the fact that this place has a drive-through. God how my lazy self loves drive-throughs ... The only downside? The cream cheese comes on the side - you have to smear it on your bagel yourself. Which is ok, I guess, but like I said, my lazy self likes to do as little work as possible.

I spent a couple months in upstate New York, this is the only place around here that seems to offer bagels with the "sponginess" and taste reminiscent of what I tried in NY state... Had some very nice peach streudel here also. There is a lot of seating area inside, if you don't mind the TVs tuned to Fox News [ I sort of minded, but the bagels are so good I managed to survive (-: ] They open at 6:30 AM, which is pretty early by beach town standards, early enough for many to stop by and get something for breakfast. I personally recommend the egg, corned beef, swiss cheese on a garlic bagel; with a little spicy mustard splashed on it if you so desire... Much, much, much better than the chain bagel places like Einsteins.. You order at the counter, the food is brought to you. This is a family run business, the staff are quite friendly.. I understand that the bagel chef/part owner is from Michigan and went to "bagel school" in Kansas , but you would think he is from New York because there are a bunch of copies of the New Yorker Magazine and the Wall Street Journal laying around out front for customer perusal.. My experiecne with the bagels here suggests that Kansas has an excellent "bagel school", because from the taste I was pretty convinced the owners were from New York.
